Welcome to SnapFit!
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Notice carefully before using the services offered by SnapFit B.V. ("SnapFit," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SnapFit governing your use of our mobile application (the "App") and our website (the "Site"). Together, the App, Site, and related services are referred to as the "Services."
By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services.
1. Description of Services
General.
SnapFit is a gamified social workout app designed to help users build consistent, healthy habits through micro-exercises, team accountability, and playful leveling. You can log exercises, level up skills to 99, join squads, and interact with your virtual workout companion ("Companion").
To use the Services, you must create an account using your email or an authorized login provider (Apple, Google, etc.). We reserve the right to change or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.
Your Virtual Companion.
Your Companion reflects your in-app progress and habits. By logging workouts and staying active, your Companion evolves visually and behaviorally. This character is unique to you and may react to your consistency, streaks, and effort.
Exercise Logging & XP.
You may log exercises manually or through integrations (where available). Completing workouts earns XP which contributes to leveling your skills and improving your streak.
Profile & Progress.
You can track your exercise history, level progress, squad goals, and streaks in your profile. You may customize your skills, display preferences, and notifications for an optimal experience.
Sharing & Content.
SnapFit allows you to share progress, achievements, or screenshots of your Companion or stats via social media or downloads. Content shared through the Services may become public.
2. Who Can Use the Services
You must be at least 16 years old (or the legal age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use SnapFit. You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date account information and safeguarding your credentials.
3. SnapFit Content and License
Intellectual Property.
SnapFit and all associated content (graphics, branding, UI, Companion designs, etc.) are owned by Mainthread Holding B.V. and are protected by intellectual property laws.
License to You.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for non-commercial purposes.
Restrictions.
You agree not to:
- Sell or redistribute the Services
- Modify, copy, or reverse-engineer our code or content
- Use SnapFit for any unlawful or harmful purposes
4. User Content
Definition.
"User Content" refers to anything you upload, post, or share via SnapFit — including your Companion's name, exercise logs, squad messages, and stats.
Rights and Permissions.
You retain ownership of your content but grant SnapFit a license to use it (anonymized) for operating the Services and improving features (e.g., AI training, user insights).
Your Responsibility.
You are solely responsible for your content. Do not share anything you don't have the right to post or anything harmful, defamatory, or illegal.
5. Community Guidelines
SnapFit is a positive space. You agree to:
- Respect others' journeys — no bullying, shaming, or harassment
- Avoid sharing misleading fitness advice or unsafe workout practices
- Upload only fitness-relevant content (no nudity, violence, or NSFW material)
Violations may lead to content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
6. Subscription & Payments
Some features ("SnapFit PRO") require a subscription.
Billing.
By subscribing, you authorize recurring payments via your chosen platform (App Store or Google Play). Prices and billing terms may change with notice.
Refunds.
- iOS refunds are handled via Apple Support
Cancelation.
You may cancel at any time through your app store settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
7. Disclaimers
SnapFit is not a medical service. All information provided is for educational and motivational purposes only. Always consult a qualified professional before starting any fitness routine.
We make no guarantees regarding your health outcomes, progress, or physical results.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnapFit will not be liable for:
- Personal injury or health outcomes
- Loss of data or access
- Damages exceeding the amount paid for the Services (or €100 if no payment was made)
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time without notice, especially in cases of guideline violations or suspected abuse.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in The Hague, Netherlands.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated at least 15 days in advance through the App or via email. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
